ProHart Seed Stock strives to provide quality purebred Gelbvieh genetics to beef producers looking to improve their yield in the pasture and on the rail. The Hartman family has been involved in the cattle industry for more than a century. However, in the late eighties, Gregg Hartman was introduced to Gelbvieh cattle and quickly saw the advantage of the breed. Since then, the ProHart operation has focused on producing stout bulls that have found success in operations across the United States.
In 2021, ProHart Ol’ Glory was selected as the Breeders’ Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity Champion and on January 1st, ProHart Kryptonite brought home the honors again, selected as the 2023 Breeders’ Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity Champion. We’re excited to see the calf crop these two yield in breeder members’ herds.
